Trying

By Joanna McClelland Glass

“Trying” is based on the true story of the author’s experience during 1967-1968 when she worked for Judge Francis Biddle. The Judge had been Attorney General under Franklin Roosevelt and, after the war, he was named Chief Judge of the American Military Tribunal at Nuremberg. “Trying” is the story of a young Canadian girl and an old Philadelphia aristocrat as they try to understand each other. He is convinced that he has forgotten more in the last year than she has learned in her twenty-five years of living.

Winter Wonderettes

Plan to celebrate the Holiday season with the incredible Wonderettes as they sing in the season with four-part harmony. The show, enjoyable for all ages, is a fuzzy, warm tribute to the Holiday season and is a delightful dose of Christmas cheer. Who can resist hearing such standards as “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Run Rudolph, Run,” and “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?”
